After 18 months of weekly Zoom meetings, we welcomed the athletes and volunteers back to Southport College Sports Hall. It's a bit different with social distancing, sanitising and everyone bringing their own drinks. We thank Sefton CVS for giving us bottles of hand sanitiser.

We have received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and the Postcode Community Trust. Celebrating 40 years of Special Olympics in Great Britain, the Anniversary Games were held from 9th to 13th August at the University of Stirling. On Thursday 9th August six of our athletes will travel to Stirling for four days competition in the Special Olympics Anniversary Games. Southport College Sports Hall is then closed for three weeks for student registration.
