Training re-opens

After 18 months of weekly Zoom meetings, we welcomed the athletes and volunteers back to Southport College Sports Hall. It's a bit different with social distancing, sanitising and everyone bringing their own drinks. We thank Sefton CVS for giving us bottles of hand sanitiser.

Dan wins full set of medals

At the North Devon Special Olympics Table Tennis competition Dan won Gold in division 2 mixed doubles, Silver in division 1 men’s doubles and Bronze in division 2 men’s singles

Thanks to all our funders

We have received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and the Postcode Community Trust. The Postcode Community Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Sunday Coaching Sessions

On Thursday 9th August six of our athletes will travel to Stirling for four days competition in the Special Olympics Anniversary Games. Southport College Sports Hall is then closed for three weeks for student registration.

Southport hosts Regional Kurling event

On 18th March we welcomed athletes from the North West and Pontefract to compete in a Regional Special Olympics New Age Kurling event at Southport College Sports Hall.
